Connecting a Google, Microsoft, Apple/iCal, or Custom Calendar to the Booking System

The first step to setting up a booking link is to connect a Google or Microsoft calendar to your AttractWell account. This step is required before you can set up a booking link.

Here are the steps to connecting the calendar:
- If you do not have a Google or Microsoft account, first, set them up with these links. If you have one, skip to the next step.
- In AttractWell, open the Bookings menu and click My Calendars.
- Click the Connect Calendar button.
- Select either Google or Microsoft.
- Log in with whatever email address you have with Google or Microsoft.
- Allow AttractWell to have all permissions it asks for to manage the calendar bookings. If you do not select all of the permissions, the booking system will not function correctly.
That's it! You'll be taken back to a list of your connected calendars.
Now, head over to the Booking Types link or Call Packages link and create your first link.
Connecting an Apple Calendar
AttractWell does not directly support connecting Apple Calendars at this time. However, you can sync your Apple Calendar to a Google Calendar and then connect the Google Calendar to AttractWell. Here’s how:
- Open your iPhone or iPad Settings.
- Scroll and tap Calendar.
- Tap Accounts > Add Account > Google.
- Enter your Google email and password. (For older OS versions with 2-Step Verification, use an app password.)
- To sync only your calendar, turn off the other services.
- Open the Calendar app to find your Google Calendar events.

Connecting a Custom Calendar
If your email provider isn’t Google, Microsoft, or Apple, you can still sync your calendar with AttractWell by following these steps:
- Create a Google Calendar Using Your Custom Email: Start by creating a Google Calendar that uses your existing email address (your custom domain email, e.g., info@yourname.com). If you don’t have a Google account associated with this email, follow these steps:
- Go to accounts.google.com.
- Select “Create Account” for “Personal Use.”
- Use the “Use my existing email address” option and enter your custom email address (e.g., info@yourname.com).
- Complete the prompts to verify and set up your account, including any necessary verification codes sent to your email.
- Confirm and Activate Your New Google Calendar: After creating your account, Google will send a confirmation email to your custom email address. Follow the instructions to verify and activate your account.
- Connect the Calendar to AttractWell: Once the Google Calendar is set up with your custom email address, you can connect it to AttractWell just like any other Google Calendar. Follow the instructions in the main article to complete the connection.

Notes and Troubleshooting
- You are able to connect as many calendars as you want to your account.
- If your calendar doesn't show any available appointments, the calendar may need to be reconnected. Go back to the Bookings menu, click My Calendars, and then click the Reconnect link and reauthorize permissions to see if that fixes the issue.
