Video: creating a vault or course

A vault is a private area on your website where only members with access can view the content. It’s similar to a Facebook group or other private spaces on different platforms. Vaults can be used to organize content, discussions, and courses, and they can be either private or public based on your preferences.
Creating a New Vault
- Accessing the Member Area
- Navigate to the Member Area Setup. If you’re not logged in, use the same username and password as your AttractWell account or click the auto-login button.
- Creating a Vault
- Click on Vaults and then Add Vault.
- Name your vault and ensure it is enabled.
- Save the vault, which will initially be empty.
- Vault Contents and Entry Campaign
- Vault Contents: Click on Add Content to start adding materials to your vault.
- Entry Campaign: This is crucial as it sends members a link to access the vault. Customize the default “Welcome to Vault” campaign if needed by duplicating and editing the message.
Adding Content to the Vault
- Creating a Class
- Go to Vault Contents and click Add Content.
- Choose Create Class and fill out the necessary details.
- Classes can include multiple lessons, and you can create them from an outline or use the class creator tool.
- Class Settings
- Add lesson names, descriptions, and optional photos.
- Enable discussion if desired.
- Set the unlocking schedule for lessons (e.g., in order, after a set number of days, or on specific dates).
- Save the class.
- Adding Videos and Downloads
- Within each lesson, add videos from your library, Vimeo, YouTube, or upload directly.
- Include any downloadable materials.
- Set up automations for lesson completion to trigger emails or follow-up plans.
- Creating a Discussion Room
- Click Create Room under Vault Contents.
- Name your discussion room and set permissions (e.g., allow non-admin participants to post).
- Add branding and messaging as needed.
- Creating a Resource Page
- Click Create Page under Vault Contents.
- Choose a template and add your content (e.g., guidelines, resources).
- Save the page.
Customizing the Vault
- Branding
- Add a cover photo and main photo for your vault.
- Customize the appearance of the member area, dashboard messages, and footer messages.
- Advanced Options
- Set advanced settings like custom email templates, sharing images, descriptions, and page titles.
- Notifications and Reminders
- Customize notification settings for members, including email and app notifications.
- Set up reminder emails for inactive members (e.g., reminders at 14 and 28 days of inactivity).
Inviting Members to the Vault
- Entry Settings
- Customize the entry button label and short vault summary to attract members.
- Use the Entry Campaign to send personalized invitations and access links to new members.
- Managing Members
- View and message all contacts in the vault.
- Access member area settings to further customize the user experience.
